FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)When will my order ship? Because most of our products are hand-made to order, order fulfillment time may vary. We work very hard to ship orders as quickly as possible and customer satisfaction is our main priority. Please note that shipping times displayed during checkout are estimates of shipping transit time only. Feel free to contact us with any questions or for the status of your order. Do you use lead wicks? No. WICKED SCENTS CANDLE COMPANY DOES NOT USE LEAD WICKS IN ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS. We strongly support the National Candle Association and the Consumer Products Safety Commission's recent work toward banning the use of lead wicks. All of our products are lead-free. At Wicked Scents we care deeply about the health and well-being of our guests and customers, some of which are our own family. We are firmly committed to producing high quality, safe candle products. How can I keep my candles looking their best? Candles will discolor or fade when they are exposed to intense light for extended periods. We do not recommend displaying your candles for long periods in direct sunlight, fluorescent lighting or other strong illumination. Wax will soften in temperatures over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Store your candles in a cool, dry place. Why do candles sometimes become mushroom-shaped? When the candle is consuming wax more quickly than the wick can burn completely, carbon deposits may develop. This will most likely occur when the wick needs to be trimmed. Blow out the flame, let the candle cool, trim off the wick and carbon deposit and relight. Do not allow the wick trimmings or other materials to fall into the wax pool. Do you have a candle that "eats" smoke or cooking odors? All of our highly-fragranced candles will cover smoke or cooking odors. Although there is no "magic ingredient" that will "eat" odor, our formulation and candle fragrance potency is so superior we have never received a complaint about it!
